The book jumps right into the action with the Searchers and the rescued Nightshade pack set on retrieving the remaining parts of the elemental cross. I really enjoyed that Ren and the other young wolves featured more in this book than in Wolfsbane, being involved in Reviews: Andrea Cremer is the internationally bestselling author of the Nightshade series, which includes the critically acclaimed Nightshade, Wolfsbane, Bloodrose, Rift and the upcoming Rise.

Cremer didn't allow her characters to make choices in this novel.
